Introducing the Green Premiums

Green premium means improved resource efficiency by which efficient use of energy and natural resources along with the minimization of carbon dioxide emission is explained. Because to get rid of the worst effect of climate change, we need to start the green premium project as soon as possible that’s why we require zero carbon ways to generate electricity, grow foods, make things & keep our world warm and cool.

We all should know the way of accomplishing the process and now it’s a burning question that do we have enough affordable electricity or do we need more innovative ideas, for this, there are some viable options before us, such as clean fuels, steels & cement. Moreover, we need to choose the effective cheap clean resources which will be alternative to our costly present resources.

For example, the retail price of jet fuel in the US is about $2.22 but we use biofuels instead then the cost will be around $5.35 and the difference is $3.13 means that by using biofuel, the cost will increase about 140 percent and most of the airlines will not agree to pay this twice price & many passengers will refuse to pay the extra money for ticket fares.

That’s why we cannot calculate the cost of the green premium, we can only make assumptions about the cost of technologies. By using fossil fuels in most cases, we are making our planet warmer, for this reason, we have to use clean alternatives though, these are more expensive than fossil fuels. To solve this problem, we need more innovative ideas which can close the price gap, now some examples are provided by which you can understand the usefulness of green premium. The first example is electricity, for generating electricity lots of carbon dioxide emits all over the world, by using non-emitting sources like wind, solar, nuclear power, fossil fuel plants equipped with carbon capture technology, we can restrain carbon emission. For making a success of this mission, we have to keep deploying innovative ideas like long-term electricity storage, carbon capturing sites, advanced nuclear technology, etc and then we need to modernize & expand our grid to deliver clean electricity where needed.

Not only that the process of making cement is also responsible for emitting carbons during chemical reactions involved in the manufacturing process.
